Cow Pucky Anyone?

With inflation running wild, it was only a matter of time till America’s cows banded together to push up the price of manure.

At Connolly Brothers’ Dairy Farm in Temple, New Hampshire, the price for a bag of composted manure ― an essential element in vegetable farming and politics ― has jumped a whopping 20 percent! During a visit to the farm last Saturday, I snapped a photo and personally interviewed the cows.

“This is horse pucky!” said President Biden, caught on a live mic. Though the President was confused as to the actual source of the pucky, no one could question his command of the subject.

Politics aside, the cows have been very successful in pushing through their price hikes. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the price of milk is 12.7 percent higher this year than last, while a pound of hamburger is up 11.9 percent.

America’s pigs and chickens, who are paying close attention, are concerned that most of the cows who were involved in pushing up prices aren’t around anymore to comment.

The turkeys, with one eye on the calendar, are laying low.
