Beautiful news this morning!

     The Summerville Orchestra announced that it has selected Psalm 13, composed by our dear friend, Chris Karpus, to be performed in concert next year on March 31st and April 1st.

     If you haven’t already bought your season tickets, do it today! And draw a big green circle around those dates.

     Betty and I got a sneak preview of Psalm 13 (or is it a “sneak listen”) a while back and found it beautifully composed and deeply moving. We are reminded that some of the most beautiful art in the world is produced not out of good times or joy, but in days of serious challenge, when one’s faith is tested by fire.
